Holistic therapy allows me to work all part of the person…

I specialize in Somatic and holistic approaches. For many years I tried traditional talk therapy and wasn’t getting the relief I was needing. I needed something that would help me feel calmer, and not like I was talking in circles getting nowhere. Somatic and holistic therapy saved my life. I see it change the lives of my clients every day and that’s why I’m so passionate about it. It’s also scientifically backed!

I’m trained in Peter Levine’s work, the founder of SE. I also love Dr. Gabor Mate in his theories around trauma, mental illness, and addiction as well as Dr. Joy Degruy in her approach to therapy from a social justice perspective.

I always approach from a lens of social justice. Racism and sexism are also forms of trauma. Your lived experience of your race, gender, culture, religion, ethnicity or any other identities or experiences are real and important.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and I support clients online. I graduated from John F Kennedy University with a MA in Counseling Psychology, and a specialization in Somatic Psychology. I began my work in the field in 2012, and have since worked in a variety of community mental health agencies, clinics, hospitals, and school settings.

In my free time I love to travel, eat tasty food, and spend time in nature:)
