Somatic therapy for healing at the root—not just the surface.

Do you ever feel like you’re not fully yourself—like something is missing or just off? Often, it’s your nervous system doing its best to protect you, stuck in survival states like fight, flight, freeze, or shutdown. These responses are natural in times of stress, but when they linger, they block access to your true self—leaving you in a state of stress, anxiety, or depression, PTSD, chronic anger, panic attacts, social anxiety and more…

Hi, I’m Meaghan. Since 2012, I’ve been helping adults and teens heal their relationship with themselves and their nervous systems—supporting them in feeling better from the ground up.

I

use Somatic Experiencing (SE), a gentle, body-based approach that helps release old trauma patterns and restore a natural sense of flow and ease. This flow and ease is actually your real self, not something you needed to discover or search for.

I also integrate attachment theory, parts work, and relational approaches and well as 14 years of experience as a licensed therapist, dancer, and educator—creating a therapy experience supports you to heal holistically and not need therapy forever!

In person Men’s Groups

Feeling lost? Ashamed of how you feel? Do you hide your truest self, desires and urges for fear of being “found out”? If so, you’re not alone. These are common themes that men struggle with on a daily basis. In my opinion, men are in need of support more than ever. Click hear to learn more…

Support your struggling teen

Helping our children navigate the ‘troubled’ teen years is no easy task! It’s common for teens to push parents away, and yet this is the time when they need them most. The complex behaviors of teens require patience, compassion for oneself, and often, outside help. I provide sessions for teens and tweens, as well, as supportive sessions for parents.

Let go of your past

Difficult childhoods of often follow us into adulthood. Traumas get ‘trapped’, or ‘stuck’, in our bodies when we didn’t have a way to safely discharge them, (that’s most of us!). You may feel intense emotions boil up—-like sadness, anger or depression or you may feel like you’re stuck or numb. If this is you, then chances are your body is holding onto some stuff that isnt serving you.
